Not Content With Crushing Second Amendment, Bloomberg Disregards The First

A story in today’s New York Sun, (http://www2.nysun.com/new-york/gag-on-2 ... guns-suit/) demonstrates that gun-hating Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s disdain for the Constitution isn’t just limited to his abhorrence of the Second Amendment.
According to the article, “Lawyers for Mayor Bloomberg are asking a judge to ban any reference to the Second Amendment during the upcoming trial of a gun shop owner who was sued by the city.â€

I don't know if it is the times we live in or that I just wasn't as aware in my younger days, but it sure seems like our constitutional rights are getting trampled on a lot in the last 20 years and even worse in the last 10 years. It used to be you might hear of something maybe once in a while and now we hear about our rights under the 1st, 2nd, and 4th amendments in particular being abused on a DAILY basis. It is particularly apalling that those doing most of the abuse are those who have sworn under an oath that they will protect and defend the Constitution. I guess an oath is just a bunch of meaningless words to say in order to collect a paycheck.

many, if not most, of today's law makers really have no idea what they are doing. the most important thing to them is getting re-elected. have you ever noticed how much time and money is spent by politicians campaigning in their bid to be re-elected? most will say and do anything to be re-elected...
the constitution and it's definition of rights is merely a document to them; "we'll use what we want to of it, when and if we need to...if it's convient." or they try to pass off the "what it really means is..." view of it, NOT what it really says and means verbatim.
in today's public school system, history is being perverted, mistated, overlooked and bashed around by liberal school teachers and admistrations who have an extraordinary fear of firearms and history the way it really occured. children are being socialized and programmed to accept the distored views of a few as being acceptable and "normal", unfortunately that includes our lawmakers and leaders.
i live in a state where i've seen the law go from being able to carry a firearm in the open, as long as it was unloaded, to being able to be prosecuted for having the firearm and ammo in the same compartment in your truck or having the ammo within arms length from each other and or not having a secure locking device installed.
i've said it before, i'll say it again; it's just beginning. the unprecidented assault on the second amendment, it's meaning and application as pertaining to you and i as private citizens , to own and OPERATE firearms.
in the warped minds of legislators, it will come to; "sure, you can own the firearm, BUT, you may not possess, purchase, trade for or manufacture ammunition for them AND, you may under no circumstance discharge
one."
under the sick, demented, legislatures of today, that will be their way of answering your "What about my second amendment rights?" question. they'll say; "Sure...you can own one as the constitution says you may...BUT...you cannot use it..."
sounds crazy doesn't it? it's not that far fetched...just read some of the proposed legislation on today's dockets in today's legislatures and pending court cases around the country.

Considering a good half of the country wouldn't recognize the Constitution if it was read to them, including elected representatives - and couldn't pick it out from a bunch of other "legal" or "old" sounding documents, it should be no surprise that we see more and more intrusions and downright assaults on our basic liberties. After 40 years of purposeful dumbing-down of the electorate through what passes for public education, the left pretty much has the country where it wants it. Half the people on the public dole, half of the people too ignorant to cast an informed vote, half of the people willing to trade freedom for any scrap or crumb someone else pays for in taxes - and many of those people being one in the same - and registered Democrats...

Bloomberg has sent undercover agents to other states to illegally purchase firearms. Why has he not been prosecuted for it. I guess being Filthy rich makes you above the law. I also don't remember him being prosecuted when he effectively ripped off the Bank of England to make himself rich.

I must apologize for my earlier post, Bloomberg is NOT the one who made himself rich by bankrupting the Bank of England. That was George Soros of MoveOn.org. I do still have a low opinion of Bloomberg's tactics. He is the one who got Wal Mart to agree to videotape and keep the video of all firearm sales, whether in New York City or not.

If you want to have a positive impact on putting the Soiled Bloomer in his place, consider the following:
I’m sure most of you know of the lawsuit against gun dealer Adventure Outdoors in Smyrna, GA by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. It has been going on for a couple of years now. For those that do not know, here is a quick summary.
Mayor Bloomberg sent a team of his people to several gun shops around the southeast and made illegal gun purchases. At each store one individual purchased a gun, presumably a state resident, and then transferred the gun to another person, a non-resident. The self-proclaimed savior-of–all-things-evil mayor then filed federal charges against these dealers for illegal sales, so-called straw purchases. The fact is, the sales in every way conformed to law; it was the Mayor’s team that deceived the gun dealers and violated federal gun sales laws by lying on the ATF 4473 gun sale form and by purchasing a guns for another.
These cases involved at least three Georgia gun dealers. All have settled out of court; paid big cash settlements, except Adventure Outdoors. Adventure Outdoors has chosen to stand their ground and fight Mayor Bloomberg in court. This case is the reason for the relevant provisions of HB89 that Georgia Governor Perdue recently signed into law.
Adventure Outdoors, rather than cowering to the demands of Mayor Bloomberg, has stood its ground by filing suit against the mayor. The problem is that AO is expected to incur legal costs of over $400,000. This does not include the many thousands that have already been spent on this case over the past two years. Adventure Outdoors is a small business. Its owners are not filthy rich. They are good people. They are basically standing alone in a suit against multi-millionaire Bloomberg and the City of New York.
Adventure Outdoors needs our help!!! Let’s put our money where our mouths are and lend a hand to our friends at Adventure Outdoors. Many of you rant about protecting your gun rights; now is your chance to prove it. Let’s help Adventure Outdoors and let Mayor Bloomberg know that his illegal tactics will not be tolerated. Please get off your checkbooks and help them out with whatever you can afford, even if it’s only 5 or 10 bucks. Donations should be mailed to this address:
Bloomberg Fight Back Fund
630 Windy Hill Road
Smyrna, GA 30080
Donations can also be made online and paid by PaPal (double "screw-em", use anti-gun Ebay/Paypal to support Pro Gun stuff!!).
For more information on the pending suit or to make online donations, just go to the Adventure Outdoors Fight Bloomberg website at http://bloombergfightbackfund.com/
