Ouch. I suppose he may lose his right to carry anything over this.

This could happen to most anyone, but he sure should have been thinking better about that handgun. Airports especially are going to sink your boat. One of those dummy NRA cartridges a few years back could get the heat coming your way at the airport if you forgot it was in your pocket.

Kind regards,

Seems like stupidity entered into his brain after he got tangled up with Hollywood. Shame on him. I think that anyone with an IQ over 50 KNOWS the consequences of contraband in the airport. Everytime I fly, I go over my stuff 20 times to make sure nothing is gonna hold me up and my IQ is 51.-------------Sixgun

I sure hope he is let go lightly. I doesn't appear that he had any intent to do anything, and perhaps a judge will take that into account. Remember when General Joe Foss had his Medal of Honor taken away, even though he was allowed to mail it to his home, by airport security who thought it was a throwing star. I don't think I will ever feel comfortable going through an airport again.

By gum, Sixgun! Not only are we the same age, but we have the same IQ also! :D

I'm with Sixgun on this one. He's prior LE and he doesn't remember he's packing a piece in his briefcase.

I check my stuff at least the 20 times Sixgun said, and then a couple of times more. I'am LE and I just can't see where he'd forget that. I pack 24/7 at home and where I can. I'm constantly in the orange zone about weapons, we're taught that as LEO's.

Stupid is as stupid does.

Here is the first place that I saw Farina:

CRIME STORY (1986-88, NBC). "What decade did you drop out of?" a Fed asks Lt. Mike Torello, and we might wonder. One of the best Sixties cop shows didn't debut until the late Eighties. When it did, Crime Story copped prizes for the coolest casting, art direction and music use (Al Kooper and Four Seasons arranger Charlie Callelo utilized everything from Chuck Jackson and Bobby Bland to Dean Martin and Jimmy Smith; in one episode, a psycho-punk shoots up a beauty salon to the--suddenly sinister-- tune of Kenny Dino's 1961 redundo-rock hit "Your Ma Said You Cried in Your Sleep Last Night"). Season on is now on DVD.

Lt. Mike Torello, black hair dye, and all:

His background was a minor selling point for the show. Yep, he should have checked his heater.

at least he did "forget" some weed or coke like so many other Holly-wooders have done in the past.

I dont like to carry in cases or backpacks just because of things like this.

On the belt or in the pocket... I KNOW where it is at all times.
