OT-Biker Dog is a Killer

Post by oldgerboy »

Some of you might remember when I posted a pic of our new Shih Tsu. She was in a backpack and I had given her a ride with me on the Sportser.

Well, she is now a fearsome, carniverous, killing machine. She spent this weekend at a campground in Northern West Virginia with my wife visiting our daughter. "Precious" (I had nothing to do with naming her) dug up, using the swift two pawed digging method, a small mole and ATE it.
A viscious killing machine if I ever saw one

Mighty Dog! Our female Boston Terror is a little killer too, though not much of a digger. I like the bike, too! It's been too long since I sold my last bike, in the mid-90's, and have reached the point I want to start riding again. The Nightster really has me drooling.

I'm sure it's not the case here, but I sometime wonder that people forget what these little breeds of dogs were bred for.

:)
Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

Our boxer used to roam the fields nearby and drag up parts of deer hit by cars and a few weeks or months rotted. One winter it did this so many times it became a problem; the ground was frozen so we couldn't bury them, the pond had a cover of ice so we couldn't throw the bones in there, and the river was too far away to be practical. (I hadn't thought of the chipper-shredder yet  )

We finally just started throwing the parts up in a hawthorn tree, and the prickly branches would catch nearly anything, especially if there was more than one bone attached together.

The next summer the tree leafed out, and we forgot about all the bones in it.

My daughter was then about six, and for halloween wanted to have a party and a 'spooky walk' through the little patch of woods next to the house. My wife planned and set this up, with cute little 'ghosts' made of balloons, and scary pumpkins, and so forth. It so happened the hawthorn tree was right in the midst of things, and you should have seen the kids faces when they saw dangling 'arms,' 'legs,' and rib cages all up in this tree.

My 9 month Boston is not a small dog...it's a big old gator stuffed into a puppy suit. I'm barely maintaining the Alpha position with him  I love him to death, tho.......He'll get scoot lessons shortly. Thanks for sharing, OldGerBoy.

That's right FW. Pekes were bread to attack humans as royal body guards. We always had Pekes until this one. The Pekes were 6 feet tall and 500 pounds in their minds at least and were fearless. This little Shih Tsu is very friendly and people oriented as well as being shy with other animals. That's why the mole murderin' was a bit of a surprise.

Other small breeds were meant to kill small creatures as a matter of their job.
