Not really, I've just been poking around various dealer websites and I don't know enough about any of the to know which manufacturers to look for and who to avoid other than possibly IAB (at least on their Sharps copies from what I've read).

Not sure myself - but I'm also interested in the answers. Hobie is right - Pedersoli makes the best of the Italian-produced reproductions. I have two - an 1874 Sharps Heavy Target model and an 1766 Charleville, and the quality is outstanding. Uberti (now owned by Beretta) is next IMHO and not far off.
If Pedersoli made the model I saw that has piqued my interest, I'd have no problem but it looks like it's a Euroarms only bit and I don't want to drop the kind of cash being asked by the distributor without some solid intel on EA's rep.
No, I ain't spillin' the beans yet either...
