Mildly OT - quick question

I grew up on the "Rick O Shay" cartoon in the daily paper and always thought Stan Lynde was not only a great writer but put historical accuracy into his drawings. I remember that Rick and Hipshot carried Sharps rifles when they hunted elk and that Hipshot almost died in one episode when his 1851 pistols were sabotaged by the bad guy with some water put in the nipples.

With all that said, does anyone know if reprints of the collection are available? I'd really like to read some of those again now that I'm a bit more advanced in years and able to appreciate it a little better. I googled it but didn't see anything that was an obvious link to source.

I bought "Rick O'Shay, Hipshot, and Me: A Memoir by Stan Lynde" back in the early 90s in a little hole in the wall gas station/store in Montana. It's always been a favorite. Both of those "series" of cartoons that you mentioned are in that book. A complete compilation would be nice but unlikely now. Some of the out of print books are worth substantial money now. Most of the Rick O'Shay stuff that Stan still has rights to is available on his website.
