Re: The door to nowhere
Are you gonna ride that high wheel bike through it? I've never tried one of those but imagine it would be harder than kick starting a knuckle, which I have done but probly can't any more. Lotsa stuff I can't do any more.

Re: The door to nowhere
Imagination? OK......put a shower head on the other side ...then put up a sign advertising free showers for females....preferably between the ages of 18-30.....mount the "door to nowhere" about 20' from your workshop, then drill a half inch hole about head high in the wall.----6

Re: The door to nowhere
good ones.
I made the high bike from a old hay rake wheel, rode it once down a slight hill crashed and burned so that was enough of that.

That's just wonderful, Lenn. Really does "open a door" to the imagination.
I briefly owned a high wheel and never did successfully mount the thing.

Re: The door to nowhere
Here in southwest OH, local town has grant money and they're re-habbing old homes.
They set one of these doors in a small flowerbed with a couple other decorations in the front yard to show the building they're working on.

Re: The door to nowhere
Pitchy, you ever see Mrs Winchester's house see wouldn't let the builders stop building and she had many such doors and stairways. Most likely she was a little special in her old age

Re: The door to nowhere
Two things came to my mind when I saw this:
1-- The Eagles 1977 song "Hotel California", the lyrics in part:
"Last thing I remember I was running for the door
I had to find the passage back to the place I was before
'Relax,'said the night man, 'We are programmed to receive
You can check out any time you like but you can never leave' "
(Full lyrics: http://www.songlyrics.com/eagles/hotel- ... ia-lyrics/ )
2- The Winchester Mystery House, san Jose, CA. For those not familiar with it -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winchester_Mystery_House

The most important aspect of this signature line is that you don't realize it doesn't say anything significant until you are just about done reading it & then it is too late to stop reading it....

Re: The door to nowhere
Hey fellers, as i joke around about a door to the other side i want to sneak in a prayer request.
I`ve had this on going prostate problem for a while and i now have lost 59 lbs in a couple months, four lbs this last week.
Your prayers mean more than you know and your friendship is everything to me, please don`t tell me i need to see a doctor.
God is able.

Actually, some schiester convinced her that if she stopped the ghosts of those killed with Winchester rifles would haunt her.
