Internet search is your friend. Why would you think they're not in business? Their rifles are listed for sale about any place you look. Buds has dozens listed.
They are relocating to a new factory in Sheridan Wyoming.

The internet search engines hate me. I can barely find google.
I just haven't been around any paper publications for a number of years, and the only internet shooting sites I've gone to lately is ... here.
And, I felt like starting a thread.
Ray, I just might do that. Curious to see if they are as gaudy as they used to be.
Ugh .. Well I guess nothing stays the same. The rifles I looked at are ugly compared to the ones they used to sell.

I think one line of rifles that W.Bee put their name on were all built in Japan, and were very good quality, albeit, not the pretty wood etc...sort of the economy model. Vanguared, right?

I recall years ago when the Bank of Boulder Colorado used to have a deal on a CD, you deposit something like $1500.00 or so (big money back then) take it out 7 years later and get a nice Weatherby rifle as your interest.

wm,
Thanks for the link. Ah the old Mark V is what I was thinking of. Glad to see they are still around.

I've owned several of the Japanese built Weatherby Vanguards. They're excellent rifles for the money.

More conservative companies and people should exit places that are not friendly to them. Especially if they are young enough to make the move like Roy Weatherby's grandson is. It's a smart move for the company, and it's employees. They are in a win-win situation with a friendly environment for their company, and a great place to live and work for their employees! I wish them a lot of success in the future, and hope the move goes perfectly!

I was off last week so I misseda week of Guntalk with Tom Gresham. On 3/24's show he had the 3rd generation Weatherby , IIRC his name is Adam. He would be the grandson of Roy.
They have a factory in place to now make an inertia powered semi automatic shotgun.

One of these years I’m gonna cough up the shekels for a West German made Weatherby Mark V DeLuxe in 257 Weatherby Magnum . We had one at the shop for repair and sight in and I took it to the range I really liked that rifle . Later I had a 257 Weatherby Mag in a Remington 700 CDL and it shot great with my handloads but it just wasn’t the same .
