The scales are just held on right now with the screws, no adhesive yet. I haven't decided if I want/need to give this blade a high polish or leave it as is for working usage.

No pics but I also got the CC4 Cowboy Classic kit with the sheath.
Here's the problem child:

I think I cut the shape of the scales wrong. Not having a pic of the finished product, I really don't have any idea what shape it should be at the front of the tang or exactly where it should fit. Before that little finger guard on the bottom? Contour it to match the guard?


Once I figure outwhat design they should be, I have this on hand to choose from for replacements:

California Buckeye Burl on the left, Corrugata Burl on the right, both stabilized.
So at this point, I rally need ideas/info on what to do for the compact skinner scales. Ideas? Suggestions?
