Bi-annual forum drive
Hey guys, since I'm up in the U.S. of A for a few more weeks, figured I'd take advantage of that fact and run the forum drive a bit early, make it easier for folks who don't PayPal (our usual method of donation). If you'd like to kick a bit into the kitty to keep the site ad-free and on our own server, drop a check or money order into the mail made out to Paul Moreland. Make a note in the Memo area "Leverguns Community" as we'll be doing the same thing over on the Frontier Sixshooter Community site as well.
We're looking for the neighborhood of $500 for the cost of hosting and virtual private server. Any overage will be applied to bring the domain names related to this site up to full term as well as pay on the cost of hosting leverguns.com, which is currently on a different server/system. Once the goal is reached I'll delete the address info and lock this thread so it'll slide on down the page.
Thanks to all who help keep this the friendliest and best leverguns related site on the 'net.

Just sent some via PayPal. I don't subscribe to magazines anymore and have received better information on this site anyway.

Í've been down with a bad knee, haven't had a chance to get online or do much of anything. We've reached our goal. Thanks to all who participated! Once snail mail has had a chance to catch up I'll post an update. It may be a few days as deer season starts on Saturday here...

What happened to the good old days when we would have the yearly forum auction, with proceeds going to the site maintenance fund?...I miss those days...

Re: Bi-annual forum drive
We've been on a different server now for several years, one that charges bi-annually instead of annually. It's easier to set up a find drive than an auction from abroad. This year I'm Stateside near the renewal date so it's easier to receive checks and cash which is why I moved it up a couple of months.

Ysabel Kid, I've not had time to add it all up yet, between PayPal and checks and such. I'll put up the tally soon, too many ministry and personal issues have cropped up so far. If you want to kick something in, let me know soon.Ysabel Kid wrote: ↑Sat Nov 10, 2018 5:47 pm Paul - I've been out a week + for business travel and such. I'm sorry I missed this post.
