There was an article on this subject in Scientific American sometime in the past year or so. Very interesting.
There is currently an ad I see on TV down here about watching out for motorcycles and it has a guy at an intersection looking left, then right, then pulling out and getting hit in the driver's side by a motorcycle. The problem is ... it's edited to make you think you missed seeing the motorcycle. If you rewind it via Tivo, the motorcycle is actually not there in the first half of the ad. I get irritated when people use trickery to make a point.
This one you've posted is real though. Although, if they had asked you to count the passes made by the team in black, you probably would have noticed the bear as he's very close to their colors and you'd have been concentrating on characters of that color.
