It was behavior that got those people killed. They behaved like criminals. No cop ever drew down on me when I was running around with a BB gun (even a real gun) when I was a kid.

I'm not a LEO or have a background in LE so bear with me here.
Describe for me please an example where a LEO would be shooting so fast as to shoot someone with a toy gun.
Wouldn’t this come under the heading of being sure of your target ?
