This came in the mail today. It came from Yuma, AZ. today. My daughter's ex son-in-law wanted me to have it and keep it for his son that is 4 now so he can have it when he is grown. The young man is going to work over seas someplace and just wanted me to have it. he is a fine boy and I pray for him daily. A real fine ex marine. It has no safety and a real slick smooth action.

Nice carbine, Jerry. I'm sure the boy will really appreciate it when he gets old enough.
Kirk: An old geezer who loves the smell of freshly turned earth, old cedar rail fences, wood smoke, a crackling fireplace on a snowy evening, pristine wilderness lakes, the scent of
cedars and a magnificent Whitetail buck framed in the semi-buckhorn sights of a 120-year old Winchester. Blog: https://www.kirkdurston.com/
The boy called me this evening and we talked for awhile. He just wanted to make sure that it would get plenty of use while it lives in Arkansas. he did kill a big hog with it last year when he went home to north Texas.
He and my son are not in the Marines now, I reckon that's how to say it.
