Did you know that the first Thursday of May is National Day of Prayer?

Created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman, this annual observance invites people of all faiths to pray for our nation.

The scriptures tell us, "For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers."â€”1 Peter 3:12.
