I got some ammo that belonged to my Dad and there was 2 boxes of this caliber. To my knowledge he never owned such a weapon. I thought it odd that he'd have something this unusual.

you can also get a ruger revolver chambered for the 45 colt and 45 acp and have the acp cylinder reamed out to the 45 win mag, or get a second cylinder and ream it, and then get a 45 colt cylinder for the same gun, and you now have all the bases covered.

Yep, searched high and low, nary a gun of that caliber found. I asked his best friend about it too, still a mystery.

it aint called mag for nothing
i have an early freedom arms/north american arms.
revolver in 45 win mag and 450 mag express.
the win mag is enough i have 50 factory 450 and i am not even curious
about shooting them i will shoot the 445 super thanks.
the win mag will do a 260 gr bullet at 12-1300 from an 6" revolver.
