Prayers needed.

Post by M. M. Wright »

I need your support guys. Headed for court this morning. Our 15 year old son decided to become an outlaw. I'm totally lost on this one but prayer will help when all else fails.

Oh, man, so sorry friend. I had to be there for my son on a DUII last year. It's awful to hear your child address the court. Prayers up.

Prayers up. Hopefully this will be enough to help him decide this isn't who he wants to be.

Done.

Hopefully, it's just a phase he's going through, that the judge might help straighten out.

A late friend went through the justice system, back when he was a kid, and was lucky enough that the judge gave him a choice - jail or US Army.

Happily, he chose the military.

Prayer for your son, that he will come to his senses.

Prayer for you, that your relationship with your son will strengthen.

And prayer for the judge, for wisdom.

Been there, had chest pains for a year till it was over not kidding, worse year of my life.

BUT it was the best thing that could have happened to my son totally turned him around he was only 18 and in 12th. grade at the time, funny what a real set of handcuffs & ankle shackles will do.

I don't know what your son did but he has to do everything they tell I'm to do,my son got 3 years probation and they ended it after a year because he did EVERYTHING they told him to do.

Hang in there buddy it's going to be a hard road for a while, your going to worry yourself to death because it's you son, hopefully it will turn him around like it did my son.

IT WILL BE OK

if you ever need to talk message me.

Prayers, sir, for him and you/your family. Teenage kids are tough at times, to put it lightly.

Yeh...you, son, and family have my prayers for sure.

My family played much the same game with my youngest daughter. She up and decided to be a rebel and I have no idea how she avoided court/jail...maybe it was prayer...maybe it was the fact I know all the local law enforcement.

I'm a LEO in Florida. Not sure what your son did, but if yall's justice system is any thing like ours he will probably get a "slap on the wrist". They are soft on juveniles here. More times than not too soft. Keep us posted as to how it goes.

Yep. Some really respectable adults I know weren't always on the right side of the law as kids.

The 'war on poverty' and 'war on drugs' have both made it hard for young'uns, as the law now often conflicts with morality. No good choice sometimes.
