Does anybody here know of a website or a book that has a good serial number data for DOM of Smith and Wessons? I am getting a little curious on a few that I play with and was wondering when they were made.
Thanks.

Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson by Jim Supica. Available at Amazon.com. Otherwise you have to letter it. I don't have those details handy but you can find them on the S&W Forums.

Call S&W and ask for the Historian, Roy Jinks. I had an I frame 22/32 kit gun I needed dated and he gave me the date of Mfg. over the phone. This was last year or so. All you need is a discription and a S/N.
