Has to be the hardest thing I've ever made
Well is been close to 2 months since Dad has passed. Been some difficult days some good days. I have made lots of stuff over the years from buildings to tools to fine furniture and firearms but this was a real emotional roller coaster.

And Kudos' to you for the thought as well as the time & effort that went into that; what a special piece -- that I hope will bring you some special peace too.

Sad to hear of your loss. Making a mamorial piece gives the experience depth and meaning.

Sorry for the loss of your dad.
That you did something so fine, says something about what you thought of your father. Also, about what kind of man he must have been.
Beautiful work. He would be proud.

Put the final coat of finish on Dad's flag box last night. Just re folded his flag and put it in its place.
