You won't like it, it's very, very, left leaning.

Yeah, it sure is. Seth MacFarlane (the creator, executive producer, head writer, ect. of Family Guy and American Dad) is a pretty liberal guy. It's probably best he's in primetime animation and not politics because he's acutally very smart and entertaining, a combo that is tough to go up against( i.e. William Jefferson Clinton).

I enjoyed Family Guy during it's first three seasons, but lately it seems to have jumped the proverbial shark. They're running out of funny gags, and I you can honestly only take so many of its random flashback jokes.

American Dad is simply horrible, and not because of its leftward slant (I can appreciate a well done joke, even if it is contrary to personal political beliefs). It's just not funny or clever.

Probably the funniest project MacFarlan is involved with is "Robot Chicken" on Cartoon Network late nights. However, it's definitely not for the easily offended, or those who don't have a weird sense of humor.

I have 1-5 on DVD and also have just about all of that memorized. You are right about the later stuff getting low on ideas. I have only caught a few episodes here and there the last couple of years and found some of them pretty lacking on the "funny", but not on the "filthy".

Never seen Robot Chicken. I have seen a lot of names doing voices for it though and wouldn't mind catching an episode or two to see what it's like.

Hey, my house used to be like that before I got a safe!

I've never watched the show - actually, either show, but leftist tilt or not, the segment on the gun is funny. The part where he puts it on a table and then tells the gun to kill someone drives home a great point - I may have to use that some day!
