Re: Has anyone tried this...
I mounted a see-all sight on a revolver and it did not work for me.
The tiny setscrews would not keep the unit from getting loose and falling off.
I could not pick the sight picture up quickly enough to make it usable for competition.
I would not recommend the see-all. The Burris Fastfire is much better in every way.

Haven't tried one yet but would like to test one out. Wish the local gun shops had one I could look at.
So far for me there are three good options:
So far for me there are three good options:
- a) a scope, if it is a gun I expect less than 4-5 MOA from
b) a Burris Fastfire, if I want something more compact, good for both day and night use, and don't mind needing batteries.
c) a Marbles Bullseye, if I want the fastest sight there is, extreme ruggedness, and no batteries.

Just curious: Why do you relegate scopes to inaccurate firearms?AJMD429 wrote:Haven't tried one yet but would like to test one out. Wish the local gun shops had one I could look at.

- a) something like "1-2 MOA" (a lesser number - my intent), or
b) something like "6-7 MOA" (less accurate)...?
I should'a said "expect better than 4-5 MOA from". . .

Shot one round on a Puma in .454 at a range outside Anchorage the guy next to me had. Seemed all right and as fast as a red dot without blocking the view.

Hey Doc. The bullseye is good advice. Still enjoying being able to see and shoot. Thanks
