I wonder why Marlin didn't label the .45-70 M-1895 as an SC (Sporting Carbine) ?

All the better to see you with. The Winchester group covers even more range 22 to 444 and 308 with a few 30-30s and a 25-35.

Fellas I did not shoot a scope sighted rifle until I was 44 - must admit that I love the things now. You can see little bitty things through them.
