Combo of More 22's

Post by AJMD429 »

Seems like many of us like the 'same' classics, but with slightly different stocks or scopes or barrel lengths or whatever. Anyway, here's another one of mine. At least it's my rifle that's stainless, and the pistol blued, so it isn't exactly like Yaz's - The AMT (parts-swappable clone of a Ruger 10/22) is a really nice gun; it has that CheaperThanDirt light/laser combo mount that fits any one-inch tube so it goes right on a scope. Helps keep things out of the hen house that don't belong, such as good-for-nothing* feral cats wanting a free chicken dinner. (*After processing with a .22LR, they do make good coyote bait, though...). The red thing is just some vacuum hose I stuck on the barrel tip to protect the crown (it isn't counterbored, but is accurate). Maybe someday I'll get ambitious and put on a flash suppressor or muzzle brake or whatever is legal and cheap to protect the crown.

A day at the range with a carload of .22s can be a bunch of fun.
