Got me Buck!

Post by lever-4-life »

I shot my first crossbow buck this afternoon. A big healthy forkie (A 6-point for you easterners) at about 30 yards. He ran about 50 feet and layed to rest. I realy like them new fangled sideways bows there a neet litle toy. He had a TON of acorns in him! Anybody who has never tryed to take one of these black tails needs to try, there tough to find!

Congratulations!

I've never tried a crossbow, they don't make enough noise when they go off. :D

Lever-4-life,

Congrats - a Cali buck is a prize these days. Well done.

Are those hybrids in the foothills or full Blackies?
