Ysable Kid do you mean bow making? If so I have a book by D.C. Waldorf "The Art of Making Primitive Bows and Arrows" it has chapters on different bow woods and designs , a very complete book. All you need for tools is a draw knife and a spoke shave.
There are some fine looking long bows and recurves, indian flat bows, all kinds.

Yep. I'm just interested to see the progress on the one you are working on!
Thanks again Jerry. My first internet experience was researching primitive bowmaking, and at that time I was able to find a number of self bow tutorials free for download. I also bought a couple books that I cant recall the author. I also downloaded some bowstring making articles, along with some tutorials on snare making.
I have a pice of osage, but I'm not sure I'm ready for it yet.
