What is a Marlin39a takedown worth?

Post by kevinjs1@gmail.com »

There is a guy who wants to sell a Marlin 39a Golden takedown. It was made in the 70's. I want to know what it is worth. The pics show very minor wear and he wants $350 for it. Is this a good deal? And is this a good gun?

Here are the photos

It`s worth that and a little more if in good condition. Fairly hard to find in nice shape. They are good shooters.

Oh, by the way, 39A`s are all takedowns.

IIRC all the 39s are takedowns.

+1 on what Chuck said.
"People who object to weapons aren't abolishing violence, they're begging for rule by brute force, when the biggest, strongest animals among men were always automatically 'right.' Guns ended that, and social democracy is a hollow farce without an armed populace to make it work."

Yep I think 350 is a fair price. Rifle looks nice in the photos.
