I have a " Loadbooks USA " for the 45 Colt,
It is a compilation of load data from different Bullet & Powder Manuf...
A couple of sections list the Load data for the Win 94AE as less grains of powder than the Ruger/TC when using the same powder and bullet..
Does this mean the Ruger is a stronger action than the winchester????
Or is there some other reason for the higher loading...
I was under the impression that I could load for a Ruger and use same ammo in The Winchester...
Also, ( Gunshow )There was some 45Colt Plus 'P' ammo for sale ( Georgia Arms )
which stated Ruger, T/C loads, no ref to winchester. Would they be ok
in the W94AE????
45Colt Load Data, Ruger vs Winchester

I use ruger loads in my 94 all the time.
I have the same book it is a great quick reference. Back it up with some books from Sierra, Hornady, and Lyman and will will do great.

Any loads "SAFE" to use in a Ruger Blackhawk are safe for the Win 94s. Many manufacturers will load to a certain velocity level, or a certain pressure level and quit there.
Every thing I've shot out of my Ruger BH I've also shot out of my Win 94AE with reasonably good results.

Well, I just learned a few things!
That was a great read on the .45 colt.
I thought I was over working my Marlin94 with a load of 17.8 gr of 2400 under a 250gr XTP. It sure felt close to .454 Casull pressures out of my Ruger. I went there cuz that's where the groups tightened up, but I reckoned it was really hard on the steel. I guess not!
Not gonna shoot it much anyway, I'm a backyard plinker.
Thanks for the knowledge about the .45 colt!
