Question for the owners of the 327 Fed Single Sevens.

Post by 2ndovc »

Do they fit in the same size holsters as a Single Six?
I would imagine so but thought I'd ask before I ordered one.

Mine is due in on Tuesday and want to order a cross draw rig for it.

I have mine in an old Ted Blocker and had a Lobo Gunleather holster made up for mine. No issues with fit at all. I have a Galco Three Persons and other than the longer barrel on my Seven it fits great.

The only difference size wise is the un-fluted cylinder, so possibly some very tight fitted holsters might not fit.

BTW, early ones might or might not have issues, heard the later ones are coming better. Either way, once ironed out this is a very fine piece. Lots of discussions over on some of the other forums with good load data and results. I am really liking mine.

Liking mine as well. And yes, it should fit as long as the barrel does (length-wise if in a closed-toe).

Picked it about an hour ago.
Really like the long barrel, action is stiff as heck. Can't wait to break it in!

Photobucket isn't working for me.
I'll get some photos up when I get the new holster and maybe some new grips.
