I dropped by my favorite local pawn shop this afternoon to pick up some Olde Eynsford black powder that I had ordered, and there on the display floor was a large cardboard box containing several vintage leather gun cases that caught my eye. Most were in the $150-$250 price range, which was more than I would be willing to pay, but two of them that looked very well made to me were priced at just $59 each. With a bit of haggling I bought the pair for $100. Pulling a vintage Winchester out of an equally vintage leather case when arriving at a shooting match ought to be worth some style points anyway!

Look much better than what they had at the company store last time I shopped there. Don't know if the current generation is keeping up the quality at Brauer. Was very disappointed with my lace on recoil pads.
