Browning Model 53, 32-20.
I saw a real good looking Browning Model 53 in 32-20 this Thursday. it was a consignment rifle in mint condition for 850.00. Did they make only the Limited edition? This one had great wood. What are they going for?

I still have the original Browning catalogue for the year the Browning Model 53 32-20 was sold. There was only the one grade made. They are a gorgeous gun. If you decide to buy one and you don't need your sweet original Model 53 32-20, let me know and I just may throw my shoulder out reaching for my wallet.

$850. is a fair price.
They are accurate and have a good sight set up. The rear flat topped sight is one of my favorites and provides an excellent sight picture. They balance and carry well, with the sights aligning as you draw the rifle into your shoulder. Most of them seem to have fancy grade wood. I am not a fan of the gloss finish and checkering but the sum of the parts exceeds expectations.
