That bill was doomed for failure from the start. 
It was only a ploy by the thing mayor stating that "we need to be a more friendly city" in order to draw more families and gays within the city limit. Same as his "same sex marriage" plan.
I though it was so laughable when it first surfaced. I even remember saying on another forum that it would fail in the Califonia Supreme Court.

...and I don't think he even knows it...Walks around with a half-assed grin...If he feels fear, he don't show it. Just rides into hell and back again.
