Glad you enjoyed it. I enjoyed the hunt. I have not tried a scout scope setup. Mine is conventional- a 1-3 Weaver in Talley one piece mounts. I love it. On 1.5x, I can see the front sight on the rifle(blurry) and things are in focus as close as 16ft. My off (left) eye has become dominant and I have read that is not a good situation for the scout arrangement. I have several sets of Williams receiver and Firesite front sights in the drawer, but for low light and less than peak performing eyes, glass gets my business every time.

Sometimes when you get a little older if you don't use a scout scope or something like it you don't go hunting anymore. I have a little 30-30 that has a scout scope on it and it makes up for lots of blurring that I now have.

Way to go!!! I have never killed a wild pig, WV only has a one week firearm season during October. Maybe one day I'll be able to connect.
