Workin' on it right now. Had a nice breakfast consisting of a piece of leftover venison tenderloin from supper a couple of nights ago, alongside gravy and a thin layer of mashed potatoes (left from same meal as the meat) on buttered toast, topped with a couple of fried eggs.Griff wrote:Happy Birthday Gents!
Got some vague plans for the rest of the day. Maybe there'll be an AAR (just hoping it doesn't end up including a police report)

Happy Birthday....(What's an AAR? Might be fun if there is LEO involvement... )Molasses wrote:Workin' on it right now. AAR= After Action Report
Didn't do a whole lot worthy of mention. Spent part of the morning mounting an old Bushnell 2.5X with a post reticle on a .30-30 Contender carbine barrel and cleaning the bore on that and a Model 1909 Argentine cavalry carbine.
Shared an interesting frozen pizza that was supposed to be "Cuban style", made in Germany and picked up from our local Aldi's store for lunch. Headed out for a bit of shopping (mostly looking) and a stop at the library to return a book, picked up another and put in a hold request for the 2015 Gun Digest when it's next in. Did make it to Cabela's and looked at everything. Still can't afford the older CZ combination gun in .22 High Power/12 ga in their Gun Library. Left with a couple of boxes of .380s for Sweet Tooth's Llama mini-1911.
Came home, fixed a roast, mashed potatoes & gravy, had it with some broccoli and cheese salad and finished with some Boston cream pie and ice cream.
I've had worse ones. Tomorrow it's back to work for the next three days.
