Just signed up after a long hiatus. I was absent from the old forum for a while and missed the change over. (I went by the spitfire moniker over there.) It's good to see all the old timers here on the new site! I was shocked when I saw that Hobie was no longer a member there but all is well as I can plainly see.
Being as every post deserves pictures, here's a shot of my three fifty sevens.
GEEZ GARY, I HEARD ON THE GRAPEVINE THE QUOTA FOR GRANOLAFORNIA MEMBERS IS FULL NOW. HOBIE--THE ATTENDING GRAND HIGH POOBAH OF DECISION MAKING-- WILL PROBABLY BE ALONG HERE SHORTLY TO PRONOUNCE THE FINAL DISPENSATION.
WELL....IF WE DON'T SEE YOU AGAIN, ADIOS AMIGO.
Gary, nice to meet someone from Kalifornia that likes firearms. Is that rifle stainless or did the flash just make the blued steel look that shiny?
Certainly there is no hunting like the hunting of man and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never really care for anything else thereafter.

Thanks for the welcome! To answer your questions...
I've been pretty busy the past year and missed all the action. I have two more grandchildren on the way this year and am as busy as ever playing guitar at my church. My oldest son, who is 32, just got a Sprinfield armory 45 ACP he wants me to check out. Yes, all my boys shoot. So, there are AT LEAST six people in California who actually shoot!
I'm not your typical Californy-ac in that I like shooting and always vote to protect our 2nd amendment rights... for all the good it does. BTW - what is granola? Some kinda squirrel bait?
The 1984C and Ruger Blackhawk are both blued. They just look that way from the flash.
Anyhoo... with the Winter over and the warmer weather here, my thoughts once again return to life on the (shooting) range. Already thinking about pre hunting season sales of a Marlin 336 in thuddy-thuddy.

We'll have to invite TERRY next year.
Sorry I missed it. I'd have really enjoyed a get together. Was that held at "A Place To Shoot"? I don't know of any other places around the AV.
