Found some older cartridges

Post by 1886 »

I was at a buddies gunshop the other day and ran across some older loaded cartridges. Some are headstamped others are not. The headstamped rounds are as follows, W.R.A. co.
45-70, U.M.C. 40-70, W.R.A.co 40-90SS paper patched round. There are some others but are not headstamped. One appears to be a 50 cal. round whos case is about 1/4' longer than the 45-70 case. A 50-110 maybe. Looks to be an older reload. I will post some pics later. 1886.

1886,

Love to see the pics. Are any of these going to be for sale? My cartridge collection is lacking a few of those big 'ole rifle rounds.
