Viet Nam as really the first war brought into the living room on a daily basis. The reporting was, shall we say slanted. The current was is the first that the warriors are telling their own story in a timely fashion, with sound and video. While the press may still be "slanting" the news to fit their political agenda, the ones on the ground are showing them for wha they are. About time.

I just got my nephew back from the sandbox. I shouldn't call him a kid anymore but d@mn I'm proud of that kid! One of the first things he did was to go on a trophy deer hunt in a private, guided tours. Got himself a nice 8 or 10 point...can't remember which right now. I will have to start reading that cartoon site. It seems to counter that liberal rag Doonesbury.
Certainly there is no hunting like the hunting of man and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never really care for anything else thereafter.
