I think I stole a 1895 XLR!
My local gun dealer had a NIB 1895 XLR for 6 months on display for $589.Well today I walked in the shop and handled the rifle. The counter guy said "you need to take it home".My reply was "Yup' guess I will."After the paperwork-time for trading. My trade in was a NIB 657-2 circa 1996 that I had purchased from another dealer in 2000 for $400 out the door. The dealer took it as a strait swap and included 3 boxes of ammo
!I think everything is just cherry considering the pistol was a safe queen(I'm a tool user, not a art collector). After showing the rifle to my son in law his comment was "You stole that rifle".
My reply was "I don't feel bad about it at all"
