I was going to hunt and shoot today...

Post by WCF3030 »

...but in the last 14 hours both vehicles went belly up with brake lines and alternators.
I had a day of rabbit & tree rat hunting as well as some target practice with my little 30-30 carbine.
Not a huge deal, they would be done by now despite both Chevy and Kia doing there best to make extraction of the aforementioned issues a lot more difficult then they needed to be.
I also have another 2 hours to wait for parts!

For example on the Kia they must of said "Lets make 3 of the 4 bolt accessible from the top and for no reason what so ever flip the 4th bolt over and make it so you can only get at it from underneath. Just so we can screw with people"
Funny thing is I can but it back in from the other way so I can get at it from the top.
I've always got a certain amount of pleasure from being able to do a certain amount of wrenching on my own vehicles but I'd rather be in the woods tracking rabbits.
That which does not kill me has made a grave tactical error.

I have always been a Ford guy,
while working on them I have been known to say " Henry, you *** "
My girlfriend wants to who Henry is.
