OT-recomended movie
I just saw "You know my Name" with Sam Elliot. It is not really a Western per se but was in the 1920's. Elliot plays Bill Tillghman a marshal. I recomend this one to all. 
Yes a great flick from what I remember Steve, though it's been a while. Sam Elliot is one of the greats. A little creepy when he has his wife pull the sheet over his head just before he gives up the ghost.
I wish they would do one on Heck Thomas too!

I like Elliot, but found the move kinda slow. But to each his own.
