OT: Inexpensive EBR's

Hehehe......

For those of you looking for a cheaper EBR the Saiga 7.62x39 can be had for $269 + S/H at the link below.

http://sansoneservices.com/Site/Rifles-686.html

The gentlemans name is Gary Sansone and I am in the process of buying and converting one myself. I will follow up with a report when completed.

These rifles can use high capacity mags by Saiga or can be made to use standard AK mags. The Saiga can also be converted to pistol grip style for very little money as well.

Here is a link to do the mag conversion http://www.dinzagarms.com/downloads/downloads.html

Here is the link for the pistol grip conversion http://www.cross-conn.com/Saiga_Conversion/ and here is the first part of 5 or so videos where a guy converted one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z5-z7eXz ... re=related Parts can be found at numerous sites. Cheapest I've found is www.tapco.com

Conversions don't have to be made and it'll still be a good truck gun or emergency gun to stash for later.

I've got a case of it. I'm turning everything tacticool.

The Saiga seems to be a very decent gun for the price. I'll know more when I get my hands on mine.
