We have a local weekly paper that is pretty left-leaning. They are good about posting letters though. And they keep a good watch on the local government.

Excellent response Tycer! It is well-written rebuttals such as this that help the "fence-sitters" realize that we gun-owners are the rational ones - and the "anti's" are the hysterical Nincompoops!

We've got a weekly in our town too that leans way left. If they lean even a smidgen more they will fall over.

Tycer - You really put me to shame. I see articles like you describe and plan a rebuttal, but for some reason never "get around to it". You sir, walk the walk and serve as an example to those of us who mostly just talk the talk!!

The article mentions the murder of two elderly hikers, I wonder what the outcome would have been had they been allowed to pack a gun while hiking. Maybe none, but at least they would have had a chance.

Good response, Tycer. All gun owners need to practice using logic and proper english in response to hysteric rants.
