Saw a guy in Phoenix, had a sign said ' I just want to get drunk "
I gave him a buck for being honest!

I'd give him a buck too :) I was traveling around the country on my mortorcycle back in 1977 and my bike broke down. I camped a long some railroad tracks and when I woke up the next morning a Bum off the rails was sleeping about 20 yards from me. He woke up as I was wrenching on my bike and ask for some spare change. He was in his 60's.. We were just outside of a small town, so when I got my Norton running again, I took him into town, bought the guy breakfast and gave him 20 bucks...I figure it was good Karma..he was not a drunk...he was hungry. Hell, I would have bought the guy a six pack too

Jaehead,
It was good karma, he is probably gone now; but you can bet he remembered you for the rest of his days

I imagine by now he has seen the "big picture" of what his escapades brought to his door-step. I wonder if he is quite so cocky as he might have been---say, 3 weeks ago? The boys at S&W probably didn't shed too many tears over this.
