Humor - Why I don't use bluetooth
This is hysterical...

I remember when the darn things first came out. I had a very attractive peer who was one of the first to get one. She had long, dark hair. I could never tell if she had the earpiece on, and interrupted her constantly when I thought she had said something to me, but was instead talking on the phone!

I know one woman who needs some sort of hands free cell phone system.
My wife. She's driving all day, on call, and the link to her store is her cell phone. Because the deliveries are timed she can't just pull over and park while she talks to the management.
It's a bad situation for her.
As for other people I've seen many men as well as women walking around motor mouthing on those things. They are all but oblivious to their surroundings.
And then there are those who like TedH said seem to think they must make phone calls when in the car. They are dangerous.
I don't have a Blue Tooth either, and unless I can get me a lap top and hook it up with one, then I probably won't waste the money on one.

OTOH, I LIKE bluetooth headsets.
While wearing mine I can dial 911, talk to the dispatcher AND maintain eye contact and a good Weaver Stance...

I got the wife one of these to solve the problem. The thing will go about 30 days per charge so it's always available as I take it out of her car and charge it for her on Sunday nights. Of course, she thinks it charges itself.

Mine NEVER needs recharging...
It runs for about 2-3 months on a single AAA battery.
Motorola H300.

The only reason I don't have my 8-tracks or my old vinyl LPs is because they were all lost in the Great New Years Flood of 1988. http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.h ... A96E948260Ysabel Kid wrote:Ji -
The scary thing is that I still have a few 8-tracks at home. No player, but I just can't part with them!
