OT - 53 Days and Counting...

Post by cnjarvis »

'Til the wedding. I can barely stand it, can't wait.

My ring came in today - she had it engraved but I have no idea what it says b/c I haven't seen it in person yet.

Congrats cnjarvis. Enjoy every minute of it......really, even the times that seem full of stress. Someday you will see them as the best times of your life. More importantly, treasure that woman!

How wonderful for you! Best of luck.

Of course, I hope the engraving doesn't say:

No, I'm guessing "Life Without Parole" or "Your *** is Mine!"

Just remember to take charge right off the bat and always have the last word

I ALWAYS have the last word, it's usually "yes dear"

Cuz I have a strong will to survive

God bless ya and if you treat her like a lady she will treat ya like a man. 8)

At the conclusion of the ceremony, you'll be needing a 21 levergun salute!

WOW Congrats that is awesome. I love the Celtic weave pattern of your ring. I have a similar ring but all silver, only thing is my ring finger knuckle is fatter than the finger which narrow down at hand so a ring that fits over the knuckle rattles around loose on finger wearing away at the flesh and my wife did not like me ringless for some odd reason SO I branded myself with her initial on the ring finger along with a purple heart (wounded in action).
My bro-in-law wife's kid brother also getting married in May but right afterwards gets shipped out to IRAQ (2nd try, first wife cheated on him while on his first tour in IRAQ).

Thanks all.

Ji, I looked around all of the local chain jewelers and found one very similar that I liked but couldn't find the exact one I wanted. (the others were all opposite white/yellow gold) My fiancee googled two tone wedding bands and we came up with e-weddingbands.com. Didn't take long to find it and I like it MUCH better than what I saw at the chain jewelers. It cost a little more than what I saw locally but not too much so. Delivery was 2 days from time of purchase.

I have never had a ring on and at 55, I don't expect I ever will.
I know I am in the minority, but it has worked for me.
Congrats to you, the majority of the populace have done so as well and it has worked for them

I never take mine off - and am darn proud of it. It is just a simple gold band, but it represents the best thing I ever did, and has led to the greatest joys of my life - a loving wife, two wonderful kids, and great life.

Congratulations - the adventure is about to begin!!! :D
