Really been wanting one of those 94/ .22 Mags. Saw one a couple weeks ago. The old guy wanted $600 for it. I know they're hard to find but too much for me.
Let know howit shoots!

Hi Swampman,
Great rifles.
Can I ask a question about the 1894 22magnum?
I found one here in Sydney in mint condition that I bought for a good mate of mine who lives out in the Australian bush miles from any gun shops. He has had continual feeding problems with it and has come to the conclusion from talking to Marlin people online that the 1894 in 22 mag was a bad design and that this gun will never be any good. Because I picked it off the rack for him I feel pretty bad about possibly buying him a dud rifle.
Finally - the question. Have any of you guys experienced problems with the 1894 in 22 Mag not feeding rounds into the chamber?
I would appreciate your comments.

Mine feeds CCI Maxi-Mags perfectly.
I want to try the new Hornaday Leverloution rounds in the .22 Mag. They seem like they'd feed in anything.
