I don't ask the question because I'm doing a survey, or need answers, but to provoke some introspection - who among us will really leave a legacy?
We don't all have children, but we are all around somebody's children who need to hear 'our' side of things. Not just the levergun/cowboy part, although that is integral with the self-reliant, freedom-loving, and non-parasitic version of mankind who formed our nation.
Are you all taking young people out shooting?
Are you taking the time to educate them in the REAL world vs. the socialist nonsense they are taught in school?
Will your kids/grandkids be staunchly pro-gun, pro-freedom, and able to deflect the constant pressure of their anti-freedom peers and teachers?
Are you going the extra mile and helping to influence OTHER people's kids, or other ADULTS? Too many live the lives of superficial urban consumerism, oblivious to the concept of freedom, and entirely ignorant of firearms and their practical utility, recreational fun, and all-important sociopolitical stabilization.
If WE don't educate them, NBC, CNN, and the schools Obama/Clinton want to run will...
Anyway, I just wanted to get people thinking, and hopefully making sure they are sharing their knowledge and life experience with the younger generation who will replace us all too soon. I've seen some photos of fine young kids here who sure as heck LOOK 'pro-gun' and I assume they probably 'get it' when it comes to history, politics, and the human condition.
We need LOTS more of those kids, so take your kids/grandkids/nephews/nieces out shooting, and invite co-workers, church members, etc. out to shoot along with their kids. Do it often, and educate them in the process.
