He did a demonstration at the dealership I worked at years back. I handled his guns and I was truly impressed with how smooth they worked. He told me he has to really beef up the internals to handle his fast shooting or they blow out of time pretty quick. I don't care for the reshaping of the hammer. But they have to do that to catch it under speed.
Just got home and got a chance to watch. Cool stuff right there. Its even more impressive when he shoots 5 balloons and it still only seems like he fired once.
I have had the chance to meet both him and his wife a couple of times when End Of Trail was still held here in SoCal. They are both great people and a pleasure to talk to. He does some really nice work on Ruger Vaqueros.

Bob was here once at a local Ford dealer for a grand opening. He couldn't do live ammo tricks, but he was still very impressive with blank loads. He's always been a favorite of mine, and his wife is no slouch with a SAA either!
Did I once hear somebody say that a single action would be too slow for self defence.
We just updated our mandar rules to shoot 6 shots in 4 seconds and I was wondering if I would be able to do it with my single six, guess I can stop wondering.

I had the pleasure of watching him in person, at a Nashville, TN., gun show. He is truly unbeliveable. When he stepped up and fired his first shot, I did not believe it and thought it was some kind of trick..was looking for another shooter!!! LOL!! Fantastic gentleman!!! Art
P.P.S....... Munden is an Alien.............there ain't NO human can do that, IMHO, Just kidding........... he sure does what he says he can do, don't he? jd45

Thanks Nate, but I dont think either me or my gun are as slick as that, and over here finding someone willing to slick up a ruger or a marlin is like finding hens teeth, or rocking horse dumplings.
jd45,I can't believe how many people keep asking me the same question.
The girl is Penelope Cruz and the movie is bandidas, which is a fun and easy to watch movie.

Yeah he's dang fast. But, there's always the first time something goes wrong and I hope he doesn't shoot himself in the pecker.........

Look real close at his holster.
Looks to me like a steel deflector plate attached to the back of
the holster that angles out away from his leg and foot.
Also seems the revolver is at full cock before he pulls.
For gundownunder,
G'Day Bob! Just thought you might like to know I rented that movie today & you're right!........it IS a fun movie! I'm gonna buy the DVD asap. Thanx again, jd45
casastahle, you are right on both counts. Those rigs do indeed include a steel deflector plate, and the holster is a loose fit in the cylinder area, allowing it to turn while the weapon is still holstered. I would hate to wear such a rig while going on a bouncy ride in my Jeep! The weapon would be free to bounce right out of the holster! (Same goes for riding horses, of course, but my horse-ridin' days preceded my ownership of handguns.) I do have a rig made my G. Wm. Davis which allows the weapon to be cocked while still holstered, but it has no deflector plate. I bought it more for the memorabilia aspect than actual carry; I really like Davis holsters in general, and the rig resembles that worn by Vin (Steve McQueen) in the Magnificent Seven.
