While working out current exchange rate info I found that the cost of being a millionaire in Colombia's gone up quite a bit from last year. BUT - it's still within your reach!

Yep, just fly down to Colombia. Take your handy, dandy ATM card to an ATM machine. Withdraw 1,000,000 (one million) Colombian pesos. Today that'll cost you about $541.35 plus whatever ATM fee your bank charges you!!! Woohoo!!! Be a millionaire for a lousy $541.35 (plus fees)!!!

Of course, about three years ago it'd have only cost you about $338.98 (plus fees) for the same privilege. Such is life when the dollar's falling against foreign currency...

Not much.

Actually, it depends of what.

It won't buy you any legal firearm. (key word - legal)

It would buy you about 400-500 rounds of .38 spl RNL ammo - but spaced over two to two and a half years (only 200 rounds a year allowed)

It'll get you about 183 pounds of beef.

It'll get you around 140 Royal Gallons (one royal gallon is 4 litres instead of something like 3.96 litres) of regular unleaded gas.

It'll pay the base minimum wage for for about 2.3 months (you'd still have to come up with half again or more as much to pay the benefits package mandated by law)

That's just a sample.

I had a hard time at first walking into a mexican wal-mart. Everything looks exactly the same except the prices looked waaay high.
