.........but I would love to go caveman on this dirt bag magot. Someone dropped off three dogs down the road a piece. We live almost two miles from the main road and are the second house on the left so it's rural. One got hit on the main road already. This little guy was the only one that would come to me and the third wouldn't. It acted as though it never interact with people. I took some food down there for three days but this morning it was gone. Somewhere comfortable I hope. This one stays now with us. He was covered in dreadlocks and filthy dirty. Two baths and a lot of trimming and good as new. He is 100% house broke and just as gentle as could be. We call him Scooter and he likes it. We didn't plan on a third dog but my home has the room for another pal. It just breaks the heart what some folks can do. He's been here since friday and already has fit right in.

Well, he's one lucky pup. To bad about the others. Pretty much all of the pet's we've had have been strays. I'll never understand how someone can just abandon an animal. Maybe they have some "disney" idea that if dropped off in the countryside they'll magically be able to take care of themselves. I hope there's a special place in the afterlife for such folks. Hope it's warm and toasty.

Your going to have to put a sidecar on that new bike for all the mascots.

I understand the sentiments, I'm glad scooter got a second chance, as a county Animal Control Officer I see far to many that don't. Sometimes hard to keep the dust wiped out of your eyes.
I'm glad Scooter has found a good home. The last owner didn't deserve him.

I've had several "Drop offs and strays". They have been and always will be my favorites!
might be bringing another home next week. A little Rat Terrior that needs a home.

Idiots who drop off unwanted animals in the country deserve to be horsewhipped. I have 2 dogs I adopted from the pound, and love them both. I wouldn't have them if someone would have turned them loose in the country. Gobbler, glad you have a new friend. Hope he lives a long and happy life with you.

Mascots...Pitchy those three own and run the place...
That just about sums it up. Cool part is I'm an old softy and I don't mind. If the worst thing folks can say at my funeral is, "Well he always liked to spoil his dogs.", that'll be fine.
