Our Abyssinian cat Nala is an adventure kitty.
She loves to travel, when you put on her harness she runs into her carrier and even drools a bit.
She goes bike riding, with her carrier lashed to a trunk rack.
When I took her on a quick bike errand a couple of weeks ago, she wouldn't come out of her carrier until I rode her around the block again.
We spent last week at Estes on the Gulf coast.
Between the heat and blow, fishing was pretty much a bust, and that's OK, so we paid a few dues, and I did catch my tourist redfish and a few fly-rod specs off the dock at night.
Mostly, we were just entertaining the girls, hopping 3' seas for them in the big bay, kayaking the flat and canals, and eating fine meals.
We didn't take the cat out on the flats
but we did take her around the canals
We also flew two-handed kites at the beach.
Maybe we can make her a flying harness...

That's pretty cool! I wish Thor would adapt to a carrier like that. He loves to ride on the back deck of the drift boat, though.

That cat looks like it has a lot of personality. My cat hates to ride in the car, but that's probably because every time he does he ends up at the vet.

I have a ginger cat, looks just the same as yours, a bit bigger. Real adventurer too, I take him on long walks like a dog, without a leash. When he gets tired he will calmly, as befitting his station in life, ride around on my shoulder like a pirate's parrot.
And not afraid of anything, excepting buses, which he treats as equals. The kind of cat that when you walk up to him he doesnt get out of your way, just stares at you, meaning; "What do YOU want?" When he was a kitten he would play bodily with human beings, ambush them from hiding and launch himself through the air and tackle people. Hanging the washing out for the wife used to be a trial. The postman was terrified of him - and he rides a motocycle.
I have had serious thoughts of taking him pig hunting. Fairly sure he would chase and bail up a decent sized boar without too much trouble.
His name is Raymond. I have only just recently promoted him to Colonel Raymond.

Nala loves to ride in the truck. When we're riding down the highway, we let her out of the carrier (had a sandbox for her in the backseat floorboard on the drive to the coast). She will clamp onto a headrest like she's riding a shoulder, and loves to watch the world roll by.

Probably, could say so.bulldog1935 wrote:I'd guess he's making fun of your whiskers.
Adding this, Owen i know we are friends and that you didn`t mean anything bad.
But it looks like chit and could be taken the wrong way so i figured i`d mention it and you could explain, that`s all.
