Those were nice, I could have gone that way. I think the Yamaha has an upright sitting position in comparison, though. I think my arms would get tired leaning on them 800 miles a day...Or, at least I think so As it is, I've put on some handlebar risers that lift 2", now, I need some longer clutch and brake lines so I can pivot back a couple inches...rjohns94 wrote:Very nice. Yeah Blaine. You've probably gone through your break-in period now. So, how fast does she go ?

I'm guessing faster than 135. That is what mine tops out at

I've seen about 110 with two up and it was still accelerating pretty good....I may or may not find out. (Cycle World sez about 135, as well)rjohns94 wrote:I'm guessing faster than 135. That is what mine tops out at

Re: A Pic: New Scoot & I
At 135, a lot of road seems to disappear real fast! I may never see it again around here. I felt it necessary to try at least once. I did notice that the mpg gauge went up at that speed. That's good to know I still think your beast has a bit more in it. I like your mods. I still have to adjust the wind screen on mine to reduce some of the buffeting I am also amazed at how much larger in bulk this one is over my Harley, taller, wider and looks longer, but I think it's just a little shorter. Takes up a lot of room in the garage.

YesSir....Dang things are akin to Ft Knox if you dump off road....They use the same key as the ignition (and seat...seat comes off in a arf a mo with the key). I'm thinking I could throw a deer across the back of that thing, it's high enough.Pitchy wrote:Ok i give up, what are the black and silver boxes, luggage ?
