Getting ready for Quigley video
Hope this doesn't offend JMiller too much as I posted this over at Marlin Owners too...
Spent some time over at the U-Pick Sagebrush Ranch last weekend and got some video of Wind dialing in his Shilo Sharps at 600 and 800 yards.
600 yard video

800 yard video

I also got to test my Accurate Mold 382-250B bullet on the 400 yard dinger and is now officially dingtested.

A good time was had by all.
One last bit of news is that the Marlin 1894 (1905 vintage) made it back from John Taylor's shop, relined and ready to go. Early tests show real promise. Should have it dinger tested in the next month or so.

Well apparently there are at least four kinds of men - those who learn by listening but ---- it doesn't stop there but ---- the others don't know about the rest.

Oh for a place like that to shoot. That would sure be a pleasure.

Didn't want to cloud any issues about desertion or gettin past anything just showing respect so'z not to git capped again.Yeah, I guess those are pretty cool videos. But to me the fact that Whit Spurzon and Wind deserted us clouds the issue. Sorry I find it difficult to get past that.
Got a passel of friends here that don't frequent M.O. and wanted to share the fun with them and others who might be interested.

Re: Getting ready for Quigley video
Whit,
I thought we put that to rest back then?
Nice video of the 600 yard shooting. To bad I'm on dial up and it takes sooooo darn long to load them.

You can load those for me anytime you want. I'm never allowed back to MO, anyway....I kept confusing VTDW and Larry with the facts

Very cool and inspiring. Like others, I would love to be able to try those shots.

Re: Getting ready for Quigley video
Nice shooting spot and great shooting. I use a spot in Pawnee National Grasslands for my long range shooting and have mapped out sites for 100 to 1,000+ yards but find that the 450 - 500 yard distances are the most fun for me.
